Aluminum Casting
OZAA JSC is a supplier of aluminum castings for a number of machine-building enterprises.
The basic part of the supplied castings is of the second and of the third group - responsible castings and castings of special responsible application, impermeable and bearing heavy static loads.
The technology of the production of the castings at OZAA JSC ensures their compliance with:
- The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the material - according to SS 1583-93 "Aluminum Casting Specifications";
- Accuracy of the geometric parameters and weight - according to SS 26645-85 "Casting of metals and alloys. Size, weight and allowances of tolerances for machining";
- Additional requirements for manufacturing and supplying of castings, not specified by the State Standards - according to the Technical Specifications TS RB 05745035.014-94 "Castings and details from aluminum alloys for motor-vehicles products".
Casting alloy AlSi9 SS 1583-93 used in the production process is prepared on the basis of initial materials:
- Aluminum primary SS 11069-2001;
- Silumin chushkovy SS 1583-93;
- Magnesium primary SS 804-93;
- Manganese metal SS 6008-90;
- Return of own manufacture.
Alloy preparation is provided in accordance with the typical technological process of KTTP SHKUR.5210.0020 "Fusion of metals and alloys". Fusion is carried out in the induction furnaces 2, 5 / 1, 6 M3.
All materials used in the production of castings are subjected to the mandatory test in accordance with the STE 4.10-020-2008 "Quality. Input quality control of the materials, intermediate products and components."
Adjusting of the chemical composition of the alloy in the fusion process is ensured through an express test, which is carried out with spectroscopic method. Gazoargon refinement provides the clearing of the alloy from nonmetallic inclusions and the dissolved gases. The specified material structure of the castings is provided by alloy modifying with the integrated flux.
Aluminum casting manufacture at aluminum casting workshop OZAA is carried out by the following methods:
- casting in the mold;
- molding under low pressure;
- high pressure castings;
- sand casting.
Heat treatment of the castings is used to remove the internal stresses in the castings, improving their mechanical properties.
The mode of the heat treatment of the castings is determined by the technical specifications of the details drawing.
The mechanical properties of the material of the castings are certified with the results of the test of separate cast samples (cut from the body of the castings if necessary).
Conformity of the geometric parameters of the casting to the requirements of the design documents and standards of accuracy is provided by the casting equipment used in the manufacture on the basis of certificates of the marking and reports of launching of the casting equipment to the manufacture.
