Chronicle of Important Events
Osipovichi Automobile Units Plant JSC plays an important role in city development and has almost 50 years of history.
1963
The workshop of technological equipment of the Minsk Automobile Plant was created on the released areas of the Mayak enterprise in Osipovichi, intended for the manufacture of automobile components and non-standard equipment. In a short time the works was carried out on the reconstruction of the buildings, installation and commissioning of the equipment. Soon the workshop manufactured the first production - boxes of takeoff power and pumps of cab dumping device for MAZ. Subsequently, the workshop of technological equipment was renamed into mechanical-assembling workshop №5.
Time put new important tasks for motor industry on the increase of the production of heavy vehicles and lorry convoys to meet the needs of national economic for goods transportation.
1971
Construction of the plant started based on the Resolution of CPSU Central Committee and the USSR Council of Ministers issued on March 23d, 1970, on the Order of the USSR Ministry of Motor-Car Building issued on April 17th 1970 and on the Feasibility Report, confirmed by Protocol N 8 of the USSR Ministry of Motor-Car Building issued on September 1st, 1970.
1975
Osipovichi Automobile Units Plant was allocated from the Minsk Automobile Plant on the rights of producing unit of AvtoMaz Association.
1976
The aluminum casting workshop was launched into operation. On February, 14th, 1976 there was the first in the USSR fusion in induction melting electric furnaces of raised frequency IAT . For the Tenth Five-year plan more than 800 items of complex castings from aluminum had been developed by the workshop.
1980 год
The workshop of GRP cabins was launched into operation and from the beginning of its organization it has been producing cabins for MAZ special manufacture and accessories, products from GRP for the needs of the industry and of sports complex. In the eighties the GRP cabins workshop mastered the manufacturing of products from integrated polyurethane and semifixed polyurethane. In 1990 the equipment was purchased for the manufacture of products from GRP by spraying technology of Ashland Company.
1989
The first stage of the units and assemblies workshop was put in operation. Today it is a mechanical-assembling workshop – MSC which manufacture is focused on the processing of details from aluminum alloys, ferrous metals and assembly sites. MSC was equipped with a multipurpose metal-cutting equipment having special adjustment. In 1993 the second stage of the workshop was launched, where there was the line on manufacturing of products using polyurethane at high-pressure casting rotary-type installations of Canon (Italy) on Italian technology. Two-component polyurethane of imported systems is used for the manufacturing of details.
1996
Press-welding workshop was formed. The workshop covers the range of pressed parts and manufacturing of stamping-welded constructions, frames for driver's berth, car and passenger seats of motor transport, details used as fittings for filling foams, production of parts from thermoplastic by injection molding, extrusion and thermal vacuum forming, and manufacturing of consumer goods. The workshop is equipped with pressure equipment with the force 63:630 TС, welding semiautomatic devices, spot welding machines.
2007
Reconstruction of CSK building with the transfer of the production from foam polyurethane in MSC workshop and organization of manufacturing of the parts using dicyclopentadiene resins. Purchase of new pouring and pressing equipment of Kraus Maffei Company. Details from dicyclopentadiene resins complete the assembly knots of an external exterior of MAZ vehicles, instead of GRP details subjected to intensive deterioration at motor-vehicles operation.
2008
As a result of modernization and renovation of Service Station building the workshop of plastic in which details are made from polymer materials by injection molding and extrusion was launched into operation. Vintage range of recycled plastic (polyethylene of high and low pressure, ABS plastic, polypropylene, polyamide, PVC plastic compound ), and injection molding machines with the injection volume 95:8827 cm3 allows to produce an extensive range of products.
